But in its 5 years, DLC has silently put game prices above the $100.00 price point. Here are a few examples.<\/p>\n<p>Super Street Fighter IV: Initial Cost of Game $39.99; Cost of all in-game content $100.00; total cost of SSF IV = $139.99<\/p>\n<p>Guitar Hero 5: Initial Cost of Game $59.99; Cost of all in-game content (about) $800.00; total cost of GH5 = $859.99<\/p>\n<p>Fable 3: Initial Cost of Game $59.99; Cost of all in-game content $53.00; total cost of Fable 3 = $112.99<\/p>\n<p>Forza 3: Initial Cost of Game $59.99; Cost of all in-game content $79.00; total cost of Forza 3 = $138.99<\/p>\n<p>Battlefield Bad Company 2: Initial Cost of Game $59.99; Cost of all in-game content $58.00; total cost of BBC2 = $117.99<\/p>\n<p>Red Dead redemption: Initial Cost of Game $59.99; Cost of all in-game content $40.00; total cost of RDR = $99.99<\/p>\n<p>Borderlands: Initial Cost of Game $59.99; Cost of all in-game content $40.00; total cost of Borderlands = $99.99<\/p>\n<p>RockBand 3: Initial Cost of Game $59.99; Cost of all in-game content (about) $3600.00; total cost of RockBand 3= $3659.99<\/p>\n<p>Keep in mind that we did not add tax, nor did we add in the cost of themes, avatar clothing, etc. This is just in-game content. We would hope that all developers and publishers, along with Microsoft and Sony, would follow in the footsteps of Epic Games and allow their add-on content TO become free after a period of time.
